The protective lip, or sealing lip, repels dust and dirt by sealing the small gap between the glass plate and the floor. This creates a clean joint connection, even compensating for slight unevenness in the floor. Dust and dirt cannot get underneath the plate.
The lip seal is suitable for all spark guard base plates and can be retrofitted at any time. It is self-adhesive on one side, making it easy to apply.
Its transparency means it is barely noticeable.
