Self-adhesive black flat seal 20x3.5mm, sealing cord for Spartherm fireplaces

Fireproof flat sealing cord, sealing cord 20x3.5 mm - self-adhesive for, among others, your Sparterm fireplace, for gluing into the fireplace door. This black fireproof sealing cord is based on E-glass fibre and is long-lasting.

Please ensure that the fireproof sealing cord always remains elastic. Over time, the seal may harden. The stove glass then sits tightly against the stove body and can no longer expand due to temperature differences. In the worst case, the glass may crack. In this case, the fireproof sealing cord must be replaced in good time.

The seal is self-adhesive, so you do not need any sealing cord adhesive if the seal is clamped or otherwise fixed in place. The self-adhesive property allows you to work more easily and efficiently. In other cases, the sealing cord must be fixed with sealing cord adhesive, as the bonding agents in the adhesive film decompose at approximately 80 °C to 100 °C.

Clean the surface beforehand of any old sealing cord residue and adhesive. Cut the stove seal to size and then press it firmly into place. You can immediately continue heating safely and worry-free.
