Self-adhesive white flat gasket 40x2 mm sealing cord

Fire-resistant flat seal, sealing cord 40 x 2 mm for your stove or fireplace, which is self-adhesive and can be used for your stove or fireplace door or to seal your glass ceramic pane. The white, fire-resistant sealing cord is made from E-glass fiber. It is robust and long-lasting.

Please make sure that the sealing cord always remains elastic. Over time, the seal may harden. The stove glass then sits tightly against the stove body and can no longer expand due to temperature differences. In the worst case, the glass may crack. In such cases, the fire-resistant sealing cord must be replaced in good time.

The seal is self-adhesive, so you do not need sealing cord adhesive if the seal is clamped or otherwise fixed in place. The self-adhesive feature allows you to work more easily and conveniently. In other cases, the sealing cord must be fixed with sealing cord adhesive, as the binding components in the adhesive film decompose at approximately 80 °C to 100 °C.

Please first clean the surface of any old sealing cord residue and adhesive. Cut the stove seal to size and then press it into place. You can immediately resume heating safely and without concern.
