White flat gasket 10x2mm sealing cord

Flat gasket 10 × 2 mm for your stove, fireplace, or tiled stove. The gasket is made of glass fibers, making it robust and long-lasting. Due to its 10 mm width, it is ideally suited for sealing, for example, glass panes to the body of the fireplace, stove, or pellet stove. This allows the pane to expand, for instance, when the stove heats up. This is crucial, as metal and glass, or other materials, expand to different degrees. Different materials are therefore decoupled from one another to prevent stress cracks from occurring.

Application:

Clean the surface beforehand of any old sealing cord or adhesive residue. Cut the flat gasket to size. If desired, the sealing cord adhesive can now be applied beforehand. The sealing cord is then placed on top and pressed down. Allow the adhesive to dry according to the specified drying time. If it is sufficient for the gasket to simply be clamped in place, then no adhesive is required at that particular point. After the drying time has elapsed, you can insert the stove glass. When used as a door seal, the stove door can then be closed. Your fireplace is now safely ready for operation again.
