The ash pan can be installed in place of the standard chamotte stone. When the ash pan is full, the included lid allows for easy removal and disposal of the ash. The handle is mounted so that it can rotate easily, allowing it to be positioned into the slots of the ash pan. This makes it possible to remove the ash pan easily and conveniently. A great idea and simple to implement.
