Blanking cap, chimney closure cap, stainless steel

Professional sealing of your chimney opening with this stainless steel cap. It allows the T-piece of the stainless steel chimney or the corresponding pipe end to be sealed tightly.

This blanking cap is fitted with a clamping seal. By turning the screw, this seal clamps firmly on the inside and seals the pipe. This ensures a smoke-tight chimney.

If the stainless steel pipe is set into a masonry chimney, this masonry opening must then be closed up again. This ensures fire protection. Ordinary bricks and mortar are usually sufficient to close this hole in the masonry again. If this is not possible because the stainless steel pipe extends all the way to the wall, you must secure this fire protection with a suitable vermiculite blanking cap and a suitable adhesive. If there is enough space, two vermiculite caps may also be glued in one behind the other. On request, an adjustable blanking cap can be fitted in front of it to give you a visually clean finish on the wall. This adjustable blanking cap can be painted or wallpapered over.

The blanking cap is suitable for pipes (stainless steel pipes) with a diameter of 113 mm, 120 mm, 130 mm or 150 mm.
