A chimney cowl optimizes the performance of your chimney. Penetrating winds or excessive draught can prevent your fireplace or stove from functioning properly. This can be prevented by a chimney cowl with wind rings.

Penetrating winds disrupt the negative pressure effect of the chimney. Combustion becomes worse, and even toxic combustion gases can enter your living room.

Fast-moving winds intensify the negative pressure effect to such an extent that the fuel burns much faster, causing you to consume far more fuel. Your fireplace does not operate efficiently.

A suitable chimney cowl prevents these difficulties and creates an optimal interaction between the chimney and the fireplace. It can also be used to compensate for insufficient chimney height.
