Chimney connecting piece made of fireclay, 120mm to 250mm

The chamotte connection spigot is used to establish a new connection to your existing 3-shell chimney.

Length: approx. 85 mm (extension length when installed)

Procedure:

• Cut open the casing block with a cutting disc
• Size of this cutout = chamotte connection spigot – pipe + 2 cm
• Remove insulation
• Drill into the chamotte pipe column to the inner diameter of the chamotte connection spigot – pipe using a core drill bit, or perforate with a carbide drill bit (switch off hammer drill function)
• Glue the connection piece pipe using acid-resistant adhesive
• Fill the joint between the casing block and the connection piece pipe with mineral wool
  

For a 180 mm connection spigot, the following dimensions apply:

• Inner diameter: approx. 18 cm
• Outer diameter: approx. 22 cm
• Wall thickness: approx. 2 cm
• Total length: approx. 15 cm
• Length of spigot alone: approx. 8.5 cm

For a 120 mm connection spigot, the following dimensions apply:

• Inner diameter: approx. 12 cm
• Outer diameter: approx. 15 cm
• Wall thickness: approx. 1.5 cm
• Total length: approx. 14 cm
• Length of spigot alone: approx. 8.5 cm
