Use the cleaning cover for your tiled stove to properly seal the cleaning opening of your tiled stove. The color (glaze) of the cleaning tile is off-white.
Spare parts for tiled stoves, especially those from the GDR era, are rare and difficult to source. You can get a replacement for a broken cleaning cover here at the Kaminladen. There is a wide variety of glazes available – simply choose the color that suits you.
Do you still have an old tiled stove, and did the cleaning cover break after cleaning? No problem! We will have a new cleaning tile made for you.
After ordering, a "blank" of the cleaning tile is coated with the desired glaze. It is then fired in a hot kiln to permanently set the glaze. After a careful, slow cooling process, the cleaning cover is shipped to you.
Please note that the specified dimensions may deviate by a few millimeters (mm) from the original.

A glossy glaze is beautiful, but these glossy tiles must also be treated with care. Unsuitable processing materials and tools, as well as improper use, can cause unsightly scratches or water stains in and on the surface. The glaze behaves similarly to glass. Small, sharp-edged particles, for example in grout, can act like glass cutters. Liquid-filled glasses can leave unattractive water rings if used without coasters. Please take care of your glossy tile so that you can enjoy it for a long time. Fine hairline cracks may occur, but they do not affect its functionality.

The tile looks great, unfortunately it hasn't been installed yet because our stove builder is too busy. But the tile is exactly what we were looking for. It is supposed to find its place in a 110-year-old tiled stove.
