Flue gas thermostat exhaust temperature monitor for fireplaces

The flue gas thermostat or exhaust gas temperature monitor is used to interlock negative-pressure-causing ventilation systems on fireplaces, wood stoves, or tiled stoves. The flue gas temperature of fireplaces (e.g. tiled stove, stoves, hot water boilers) is monitored and switched off if necessary.

Functional description:
The flue gas thermostat operates independently on the principle of rod expansion. If the prevailing immersion tube temperature exceeds the set nominal value, a microswitch is activated. After the immersion tube temperature has cooled by approx. 10 to 30 K, the microswitch returns to its initial position. This allows other consumers, such as ventilation systems, to be switched on or off.

Installation: Boilers and wood stoves (type 1) in the connecting pipe. For tiled stoves, e.g. in the area of the heating box floor (note the ambient temperature).
