The grate bearer serves to hold the stove grate in the tiled stove and is a component, alongside the tiled stove door and the standing grate, for the individual construction of a tiled stove. By cutting the grate bearer to length, all 3 tiled stove grates fit into it. The grate bearer has a predetermined breaking point. This can be broken using a hammer and an angle grinder. Both U-shapes can then be slid into one another as far as needed so that the corresponding grate fits optimally. The 3 notches serve as a reference point for this.
