Heat-resistant sealing compound WHITE cartridge

Fire-resistant plastic sealing compound, based on ceramic fibres and inorganic binders, for sealing joints/cracks primarily between ceramic and metallic components, i.e. the connection between fireclay and steel components on the appliance. It can be used to seal stove doors, the joints of flue pipes, or cleanout covers. Cracks and joints in purely ceramic components (stove linings) can also be repaired with it.

Think of this sealing compound as a sealing cord between two components, which you apply from the cartridge instead. It does not provide a true adhesive bond between the two materials/components. For that purpose, high-temperature silicone is more suitable.

Material: pasty and ready to use for application

Maximum application temperature: 1050 °C

Sets as soon as it is exposed to air. The drying process can be accelerated by exposure to temperatures of 120°–150 °C. Drying times depend on the applied layer thickness and range from 2–35 hours. Ceramic curing occurs at approximately 1000 °C.

Maximum joint width: 5 mm

Application: using the cartridge itself, or with a spatula and trowel
