Air grate air distributor 12.5 x 16 cm made of cast iron

The universal air grate made of cast iron serves to provide additional airflow underneath the wood or fire. The air distributor is placed directly on the bottom of the firebox. The wood is first stacked on top and later lit. The air grate ensures that the wood e.g. B. gets more air when lighting and therefore starts faster. The air holes allow air to reach the wood directly below.

Cast iron has always been and is the material of choice for oven construction. Owing to its compressive strength, kiln casting is extremely wear-resistant and durable. Ideal for use in the firebox and the necessary built-in parts such as fire grates.
