Not every jointing job requires a large container. The mixing liquid for joint compound in a 1-litre container was specially developed for smaller projects and is ideal for repair work, touching up individual joints, or reworking tiled stoves.

As a liquid additive, it improves the properties of the mixed joint compound and ensures that colour pigments are bound more effectively. This results in a more durable and visually more even joint.

How much joint compound does the 1-litre bottle of mixing liquid cover?

Mixing liquid replaces the water content added to the joint compound. Assuming a liquid content of approximately 25-30%, one 1-litre container of mixing liquid should be sufficient for every 2-3 kg of joint compound. It is important that the joint compound ends up creamy and paste-like, not too thin. So start with 400ml for the 2kg bucket and increase slowly.
