Usage: Lightly grease the grooved surface with some oil before placing food on it. Place the food directly on the plate. Avoid contact with aluminum trays, as aluminum can damage the surface. Infusions with beer or water are no problem and can be done at any time. When using marinades, it is best to clean the surface before it cools down. The contained sugar caramelizes and becomes "rock hard" when cold. A rough pre-cleaning while warm is also recommended. The remaining cleaning should only be done when cold. Otherwise, the grill plate scraper will often be used again when the next grilling session starts. Please generally avoid abrasive cleaning agents; silicone-free products (e.g., Sidol) are recommended, as they do not leave a silicone layer on the surface.
