Use: Lightly grease the grooved surface with a little oil before placing food on it. Place the food to be grilled directly onto the plate. Avoid contact with aluminum trays, as aluminum can damage the surface. Infusions with beer or water are not a problem and can be applied at any time. When using marinades, it is best to clean the surface before it cools down. The sugar it contains caramelizes and becomes "rock hard" once cold. A rough initial cleaning while still warm is also recommended. Any remaining cleaning should only be done once cooled. Otherwise, the grill plate scraper is always handy for use before the next grilling session. Please generally avoid using abrasive cleaning agents; silicone-free products (e.g., Sidol) are recommended, as they leave no silicone film on the surface.
