The reducer is used to connect a larger flue pipe to a smaller wall sleeve – in this case, a stovepipe with a diameter of 180 mm to a wall sleeve with a diameter of 160 mm. Such a reducer often saves extensive renovation work. Simple, quick, and safe. There is no need to install a larger wall sleeve.
