Mineral wool mat, quilted on wire mesh, 3m2 roll

Soft stone wool mat, quilted on one side onto a galvanized wire mesh. It is used as insulation against the adjoining wall in fireplace and tiled stove construction. It can likewise be wrapped as insulation around hot pipes or laid on hot surfaces. When building a baking oven, it is applied from the outside as an insulating mat onto the firebrick dome. Only afterwards is the plaster applied. This ensures that the heat remains inside the baking oven.

It is suitable wherever non-combustible, flexible (pliable) insulation is required. This may apply to stoves or inserts as well as to hot machines or their components. It can be individually cut to size, allowing flexible use in a wide range of projects.
