Chimney fireclay pipe, 140mm to 250mm

The chamotte pipe serves to extend a connection on your existing 3-shell chimney, e.g. with a connection spigot.

Length: 33 cm

Procedure:

• Cut open the casing block with a cutting disc
• Size of this cutout = chamotte connection spigot – pipe + 2 cm
• Remove the insulation
• Drill the chamotte pipe column to the inner diameter of the chamotte connection spigot – pipe using a core drill bit, or perforate with a carbide drill bit (switch off the hammer drill function)
• Glue the connecting pipe piece with acid-resistant sealant
• Fill the joint between the casing block and the connecting pipe piece with mineral wool
  
• Extend the connecting pipe piece with a chamotte pipe (also using acid-resistant sealant)
