Fireproof Self-Adhesive Round Sealing Cord 13 mm – for Fireplace Doors

This high-quality fireproof sealing cord with a diameter of 13 mm is ideally suited for gluing into the fireplace door. The stove seal consists of an inner wire core – sheathed in heat-resistant, elastic sealing cord made of E-glass fibre in black.

Suitable for continuous use at temperatures of up to 450 °C, the fireplace seal can even withstand temperatures of up to 600 °C for short periods. It ensures a reliable seal between the stove glass and the stove body – thereby preventing dangerous tension and glass breakage.

The seal is self-adhesive, whereby the adhesive surface serves only to simplify installation. For lasting hold, we recommend using sealing cord adhesive or high-temperature silicone. When installing, make sure the seal always remains elastic – timely replacement prevents material hardening and damage to the stove glass.
