This high-quality sealing mat is ideal for use in fireplaces and stoves. With its vermiculite-coated backing (formerly thin sheet metal), it offers a durable, abrasion-resistant, and temperature-resistant solution for sealing flue cleaning openings, chimney doors, and fireboxes .

The combination of glass needle felt and heat-resistant coating provides reliable protection against flue gases and condensate. Thanks to its flexibility, the oven seal can be easily cut to size with scissors or a knife and adapts perfectly to various contours – it remains tight even after repeated opening.

The coated side must be installed on the flue gas side to ensure maximum resistance.
