Our self-adhesive black flat gasket 20 × 2 mm is perfectly suited for reliably sealing fireplaces and stoves. It is made of glass fibres and is impregnated, which makes it additionally more robust and durable. It withstands temperatures of up to 500 °C and can be used as a seal for both the door and the stove glass. It ensures safe operation of your stove, fireplace, or tiled stove.

Please note that at 80 - 100 °C the binding components of the adhesive film decompose. If the sealing cord is clamped (usually during installation between the stove glass and the body) or held in place in some other way, no additional sealing cord adhesive is required. In other cases, you should additionally fix the flat gasket with sealing cord adhesive, as it will otherwise fall off.
Due to this decomposition, a slight odour may develop during the first few firings. Please ensure adequate ventilation.
