Self-adhesive sealing cord oven flat 08x4mm

Fireproof flat gasket, sealing cord 8 × 4 mm for your stove or fireplace. Ideal as a seal between the door frame and the stove glass in fireplace stoves, fireplace inserts, or heating inserts. Of course, this can also be used to seal the stove body itself.

This grey fireproof sealing cord is made from E-glass fibre and is therefore heat-resistant and long-lasting.

Ideally, this flat gasket can also be used as a seal for your chimney damper or chimney door. It's sized perfectly to seal the interior door to the frame.

Application temperature up to 550 °C

Make sure the fireproof sealing cord is always elastic. Over time, the seal can harden. The fireplace glass will then sit too tightly against the stove body and will no longer be able to expand due to temperature differences. In the worst case, the glass will burst. In this case, the fireproof sealing cord must be replaced promptly.

The seal is self-adhesive, so you do not need any sealing cord adhesive.

First, clean the surface of any old sealing cord and adhesive. Cut the stove seal to size and then press it into place. You can heat safely and without worry immediately.
