Self-adhesive sealing cord, stove, flat, 08x4mm

Fireproof flat gasket, sealing cord 8 × 4 mm for your stove or fireplace. Ideal as a seal between the door frame and the stove glass on wood-burning stoves, fireplace inserts, or heating inserts. Of course, it can also be used for sealing the stove body itself.

This grey fireproof sealing cord is based on E-glass fibre and is therefore heat-resistant and long-lasting.

This flat gasket can also ideally be used as a seal for your chimney damper or chimney door. It fits very well in terms of size for sealing the inner door with the frame.

Application temperature up to 550 °C

Dimensions: 8 mm wide, 4 mm thick

Please ensure that the fireproof sealing cord always remains elastic. Over time, the seal may harden. The stove glass then sits too tightly against the stove body and can no longer expand due to temperature differences. In the worst case, the glass may crack. In this case, the fireproof sealing cord must be replaced in good time.

The seal is self-adhesive, so you do not need any sealing cord adhesive.

Clean the surface beforehand of any old sealing cord residue and adhesive. Cut the stove seal to size and then press it firmly into place. You can immediately continue heating safely and without worry.
