Self-adhesive white flat seal 50x2mm, sealing cord

Fireproof flat sealing cord, sealing cord 50 × 2 mm for your stove or fireplace, which is self-adhesive and can be used for your stove or fireplace door or to seal your glass ceramic pane. The white, fireproof sealing cord is manufactured on an E-glass fibre basis. It is robust and long-lasting.

You select the length based on the chosen quantity

--> 2 pieces correspond to 2 metres, 5 pieces correspond to 5 metres, and so on.

Please make sure that the sealing cord always remains elastic. Over time, the seal may harden. The stove glass then sits tightly against the stove body and can no longer expand due to temperature differences. In the worst case, the pane may crack. In this case, the fireproof sealing cord must be replaced in good time.

The seal is self-adhesive, so you do not need any sealing cord adhesive if the seal is clamped or otherwise fixed in place. Thanks to its self-adhesive property, you can work more easily and conveniently. In other cases, the sealing cord must be fixed with sealing cord adhesive, as the binding components in the adhesive film decompose at approximately 80 °C to 100 °C.

Clean the surface beforehand of any old sealing cord residue and adhesive. Cut the stove seal to size and then press it firmly into place. You can immediately heat safely and worry-free again.
