The U-shaped silicone seal is a practical solution to prevent unwanted air infiltration at the joint edges of L- and U-shaped stove glass panels.
The silicone seal keeps the glass clean and prevents "false air" from being drawn in.
This seal is ideal for 4 mm thick glass-ceramic panels and overlaps the glass by approx. 5 mm.
However, please note that depending on the stove insert, the adjustment range of the locking mechanism may need to be adapted.
The seal is heat-resistant up to approx. 350 °C, meaning it cannot be installed in all stoves and fireplaces. Ideal for stoves in which combustion temperatures are not too high.
The U-shaped silicone seal is fitted onto the side of the stove glass and requires no additional adhesive, allowing for simple and quick installation.
