Submersible pump type 280, oil delivery pump, feed pump

The submersible pump 280 from Oilpress Keller is used to supply heating oil from a tank to one or more oil-fired stoves. The pump is screwed into this tank and delivers a maximum of 7 l/h of heating oil to the desired oil off-take points. The pipe connection fitting is designed so that the pump can be screwed into oil tanks with either a 1 1/2" or a 2" fitting. The installation length is designed for an oil tank with a height of 1.6 m. However, the hose line can be shortened individually. Care should be taken to ensure that the pump hangs approximately 4 cm above the tank bottom. The connection between the submersible pump and the oil line should be made using a shut-off valve.

The pump is equipped with an automatic safety cut-off. The integrated pressure switch monitors the delivery pressure. If, as a result of a power outage, oil shortage, or line pressure, the oil pressure drops below 0.8 bar, the control unit interrupts the power supply. The delivery of heating oil is stopped. The pump can be put back into operation by pressing the start button once the cause has been rectified.
