Vermiculite plate 50x30x3cm fireclay replacement firebox plate

Vermiculite is a replacement for the well-known fireclay bricks. Due to its high temperature resistance (non-combustible) and its excellent insulating properties, it is primarily used in linings in fireplaces and fireplace inserts. Compared to fireclay, it is lighter in weight, has a smoother surface and is easier to process. You can cut it exactly and precisely by hand (jigsaw or foxtail).
