Depending on the nature of the location where a heat source is installed, the stove pipe must be additionally insulated. You can achieve the strongest thermal insulation directly on the stove pipe itself using a so-called pipe insulation shell . It consists of wound rock wool covered with a special aluminum foil. Other thermal insulation is recommended in the direct visible area. Aluminum tape can be used for general heat-resistant seals. With insulation you can maintain fire safety distances.
