Fireclay mortar, fireproof cement for repairing and building fireplaces

Fireclay mortar is used for bonding firebricks and thus for repairing fireboxes. You can create combustion chambers with fireclay cement according to your wishes. Fire cements in their diversity are considered the ideal fireproof building materials . Depending on the intended use, you can choose from ceramic and/or hydraulically setting mortars . Ceramic-setting mortars only gain their strength at high temperatures above 650 °C. Hydraulically solidifying mortars harden at room temperature, so a specified processing time must be observed.
