Is the chimney door of your chimney broken? Use a concrete chimney slide as a replacement part. Simply brick into the existing opening with mortar. Well suited for installation in the basement. A chimney flap made of durable stainless steel is more suitable and nicer to look at. This would certainly be the better choice in the living room. It is screwed on or walled in with a separate socket.
