Collection: Grate, ash grate, fire grate, square table grate made of cast iron

Square fire grates are installed in most stoves or fireplaces. Ash grates serve to improve the combustion process. Their slots allow the resulting ash to pass through into the ash pan. The ashes are therefore kept separate from the fire. This means that sufficient air passes through the slots in the chimney grates for combustion. The logs or wood briquettes burn far more efficiently than if the ashes were left on the fire. If the ash level rises, the ash slowly overwhelms the fire.

Due to the very high temperatures, especially in the lower combustion chamber on the fire grate, the chimney grate is subject to a lot of wear. If the rust is severely deformed, it needs to be replaced.

Our portfolio of oven racks is large. If your ash grate is not included, please contact us. We are specialists in the field. Manufacturer, oven type, year of manufacture, size, pictures… are helpful clues.
