Self-adhesive white flat gasket 20x2mm sealing cord

Fireproof flat gasket, sealing cord 20 × 2 mm - self-adhesive for your oven or fireplace for gluing into oven or fireplace doors or for sealing glass ceramic panes. This white fireproof sealing cord is based on E-fiberglass and is long-lasting.

Make sure that the fireproof sealing cord is always elastic. Over time, the seal may harden. The chimney disc then sits firmly on the stove body and can no longer expand due to the temperature differences. In the worst case, the window will burst. Here the fireproof sealing cord must be replaced in good time.

The seal is self-adhesive, so you do not need sealing cord glue when clamping or otherwise fixing the seal. The self-adhesive properties make them easy and easier to work with. In other cases, the sealing cord must be fixed with sealing cord adhesive, as the binding components in the adhesive film decompose from approx. 80 °C to 100 °C.

Clean the surface of old sealing cord residue and glue in advance. Cut the oven seal to size and then press it into place. You can heat safely and carefree again straight away.
