Self-adhesive white flat gasket 40 x 2 mm sealing cord

Fireproof flat seal, sealing cord 40 x 2 mm for your stove or fireplace, which is self-adhesive and can be used for your stove or fireplace door or to seal your glass ceramic pane. The white, fireproof sealing cord is made from E-glass fiber. This is robust and long-lasting.

Please ensure that the sealing cord is always elastic. Over time, the seal can harden. The fireplace pane then sits firmly on the stove body and can no longer expand due to the temperature differences. In the worst case, the pane will burst. In this case, the fireproof sealing cord must be replaced in good time.

The seal is self-adhesive, so you don't need sealing cord adhesive if the seal is clamped or otherwise fixed. The self-adhesive property makes it easy and simple to work with. In other cases, the sealing cord must be fixed with sealing cord adhesive, as the binding components in the adhesive film decompose at temperatures of around 80 °C to 100 °C.

Please clean the surface beforehand of any old sealing cord and adhesive. Cut the oven seal to size and then press it into place. You can heat again safely and without worry immediately.
