The Oilpress Keller submersible pump 280 is used to pump heating oil from a tank to one or more oil furnaces. The pump is screwed into this tank and delivers a maximum of 7l/h of heating oil to the desired oil extraction points. The pipe connection piece is designed so that the pump can be screwed into oil tanks with both 1 1/2" and 2" connectors. The installation length is tailored to an oil tank with a height of 1.6 m. However, the hose line can be shortened individually. It is important to ensure that the pump should hang approximately 4 cm above the bottom of the tank. The submersible pump should be connected to the oil line using a shut-off valve.

The pump is equipped with an automatic safety switch-off. The integrated pressure switch monitors the delivery pressure. If the oil pressure drops below 0.8 bar as a result of a power failure, lack of oil or line pressure, the control device interrupts the power supply. The production of heating oil has stopped. By pressing the start button, the pump can be put back into operation once the causes have been eliminated.
